More than 50,000 people in Dorset have been given Covid booster jabs in just over a month.

The top up vaccines have only been given to 38.67% of eligible in the county though, with health bosses encouraging people to come forward.

The injections are available to people aged 75 and over, older adult care home residents and immunosuppressed people over the age of six months.

Anyone eligible who wants to take up the offer can book an appointment through the NHS website or app, by ringing 119 or through some local GP surgeries.

A few pharmacies are accepting walk-ins and additional community walk-in clinics will be popping-up across the county too.
