The death of a man in Dorchester earlier this year is no longer being treated as suspicious.

A male in his 60s was found with serious head injuries at an address in Milford Road on 18th March 2023.

He passed away in hospital on 8th April, with an investigation launched by the Major Crime Investigation Team.

But detailed enquiries and a post-mortem examination has found the man died of natural causes, with no direct link between the Milford Road incident and his death.

Two men, aged 18 and 20 and a 44 year old woman were arrested during the investigation.

They've all now been released without charge and will face no further police action.

Dorset Police said:

"Our thoughts continue to remain with the loved ones of the man who sadly died."
