The Dorchester Christmas Cracker event is back tomorrow (Sunday 11th December) with over 100 stalls and a packed entertainments programme.

The event will start at 11am and run through until 4pm in High West Street Dorchester.

Steve Bulley, Cracker Chairman said:

“The excitement is building for the Cracker event on Sunday, we have two international movie stars leading the children’s Santa Hat parade leaving the top of High West Street at 12noon with FREE hats for the children whilst stocks last.

"Paddington Bear and Olaf from Frozen will be leading the parade and we thank Julia’s House for the loan of these superstars. In addition, we have heard that we might even get some snow! (Even if we have to give the freezing temperatures a little help!)”.

This year there will be an Entertainment Stage, managed by community radio station KeeP106 which is kindly sponsored by Al Molo Dorchester, with festive musical acts entertaining throughout the day.

The event has been organised by a committee of people including representatives from Dorchester Chamber for Business, Dorchester BID and Dorchester Town Council. The 2022 event is kindly sponsored by Kingston Maurward College and Everycare Dorchester.
