Dorchester's electronic parking signs switched off
A connectivity issue's been blamed by Dorset Council
Electronic signs showing visitors how many spaces are available in Dorchester car parks have been switched off.
Dorset Council say there's a 'connectivity issue' with some of the sign on the way into the town centre.
That's making the numbers appear incorrectly on any screens that were still working, so the authority's turned all of them off for the time being.
They've said the signs are due for an upgrade this month anyway.
Dorset Council's 'apologised for the inconvenience this may cause visitors and shoppers'.
They've also asked drivers to be 'patient' when arriving in Dorchester's car parks.
