Warning to keep away from cliffs after rock fall at Charmouth
People were cut off by the tide at Stonebarrow Beach
There's been a large rockfall at Stonebarrow Beach near Charmouth.
The Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre say it happened yesterday afternoon (Monday 24th April), when debris and boulders fell onto the beach.
In a post on Twitter they've said:
"While spectacular looking, it is dangerous and it is still ongoing with boulders still coming down. An important reminder that this is an active part of the coast and to keep away from the cliffs at all times."
14 people has to be rescued as a result of the rock fall, after getting cut off by the tide there.
Coastguards from West Bay and Lyme Regis were called out to help.
They've confirmed that no one was trapped in the rubble.
