Two tyres of a car have been found slashed in a village near Dorchester.

Dorset Police tell us the criminal damage incident happened on a country road in Lower Burton.

It was reported to officers at around 11.15am on Boxing Day (Monday 26th December), with the details now being released.

PC Abi Snelling, of Dorset Police, said:

“Since the incident we have made a number of enquiries to progress our investigation.

“I am now appealing for any witnesses to the incident or anyone with relevant dash cam footage to please come forward.”
