Car rental building approved behind Weymouth railway station
Enterprise Rent-a-Car will take it on
A new building and car wash bay has been given permission, for the back of Weymouth train station.
Dorset Council's approved it, for Enterprise Rent-a-Car to open up a branch there.
The company applied for the same facility back in 2019, but have had to resubmit as they failed to begin any building work within the three year time window.
The Weymouth branch would create eight jobs.
The application says there would be very few cars kept on site, as they'll only be parked up for changeovers between hire periods by customers.
There's already a rental business run by Enterprise in Dorchester.
