Bournemouth man charged after police confronted in Southampton

It follows an incident in the St Mary's area on Friday

Police have charged a man from Bournemouth after officers were confronted in Southampton on Friday.

An incident took place on Chapel Road, in the St Mary's area on Friday.

Randy Randayn, 35, of Boscombe Spa Road, has been charged with malicious communications and assaulting a police officer.

He's been remanded in custody and is due before Southampton Magistrates Court on Monday.
