They've told us it's believed an attempt was made to force entry to the property at some point between 7.00pm on Monday last week (28th November) and 9.25am the following morning (Tuesday 29th November).

No entry was gained, and nothing was stolen.

But we are being asked to watch out for suspicious activity in the area, and report anything unusual to police.

PC Neil Gauden, of Dorset Police, said:

“We are continuing to make enquiries into this incident, and I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on the relevant night to please contact us.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have captured anything on home CCTV or dashcam footage that might assist our investigation.”
