Woman, 87, dies after Cullompton crash
A man was arrested in connection with the incident in November
An 87 year old woman has died following a collision in Cullompton in November.
The crash happened in Fore Street, on the 4th of November at around 10.40am.
Muriel Hammett, from Cullompton, sustained serious injuries to her head and legs and was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital for treatment.
Police have since been informed that Muriel died in early January.
Fore Street was closed for around five hours while an investigation took place.
Following the incident, a man, aged in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs.
He remains under investigation pending further enquiries.
