Woman dies after A361 collision near Tiverton
A man's been arrested by officers investigating the crash
A woman's died following a collision on the A361 near Tiverton.
Devon and Cornwall Police were called to the crash, which involved two Land Rover Discovery vehicles, at around 11am on Sunday 26 May.
The driver of one of the vehicles, a local woman in her 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her next of kin have been informed.
The road was closed for hours as investigations continued.
The scene was handed over to highways officers at around 7:50pm the same day.
A man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He's been released on bail as investigations continue.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage of it, is being asked to get in touch with police.
