Two men injured in serious A38 crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash on the A38 near Newton Abbot which left two men injured, one seriously.

Emergency services were called around 6.00pm on Sunday (2 June) after the collision involving a green Austin Healey on the northbound carriageway at Drumbridges.

Two local men in their 70s were injured and taken to hospital. The passenger sustained serious injuries and the driver received minor injuries.

The A38 was closed for around four hours while an investigation was carried out at the scene.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and would like to hear from any witnesses or any motorist with relevant dashcam footage.
