Two Devon MPs to be part of Rishi Sunak's Cabinet

Jonny Mercer and Mel Stride will be part of Rishi Sunak's Cabinet, after they were given roles by the new PM.

Plymouth Moor View MP Mercer has taken back his role as Minister for Veterans' Affairs, this is just weeks after he was removed, following Boris Johnson's resignation back in July.

Mr Mercer, a former British Army officer was delighted to be brought back.

While Mel Stride, MP for Central Devon is the new Secretary of State for Work and Pensions.
