Police appeal after transphobic comments made on train from Exeter to Crediton
CCTV images released in connection with the investigation
British Transport Police are asking the public for help following a hate crime incident on 4th November.
A man allegedly directed abuse at a group of people onboard a train travelling between Exeter and Crediton.
According to British Transport Police, the train departed Exeter St David’s station at about 4.15pm when the man accused the group of being too loud and began making transphobic comments towards one person in the group.
Investigators have released CCTV images of a man they believe may have information that could assist their enquiries into the incident.
