A tractor's collided with a water main on a Plymouth roundabout, causing some traffic issues.

The crash happened at around midday today (Tuesday 8th April) at the southern side of the Derrys Cross roundabout.

Pictures on social media show water spurting many feet into the air, and creating some flooding on the junction.

Devon and Cornwall Police attended the scene to help with some traffic management while the situation was dealt with by the City Council.

We're told the water main was switched off just before 1.00pm.

The scene was cleared by around 1.30pm, with traffic returning to normal.
