Three wartime landmines wash up on South Devon beach
Coastguards are urging people in the area to be cautious as more items could end up on shore
It is believed Storm Christoph was the reason three wartime landmines were washed up on Slapton Sands yesterday.
The coastguard attended after someone called 999, as well as Royal Navy bomb disposal experts.
It's not uncommon for storms to cause items from the 1944 Exercise Tiger to be washed up at Slapton.
Coastguards are urging people in the area to be cautious in the coming days as more items could also wash up.
The Royal Navy safely blew up all three landmines that ended up on the beach.
