Three people charged with attempted murder after Plymouth stabbing

A 20-year-old man remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Three people have been charged with attempted murder following a report of a serious assault in Plymouth.

Officers were called to Budshead Road in the early hours of 7 July after a man reported having sustained a stab wound.

A 20-year-old man remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A spokesperson for the force confirmed the three men who have been charged, by saying:

"The following people have been charged with attempted murder. They will be remanded in custody overnight to appear at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 9 July:

"Royston Morgan, aged 22, of Barnfield Terrace, St Columb

"Cody Turner, aged 22, of Bassett Road, Camborne

"Keira Matthews, aged 24, of no fixed abode, Plymouth"
