Huge crowds gathered along Exeter's High Street last night (Monday 9 May) to celebrate Exeter City's promotion to League One.

Players and staff were given an open top bus parade, to mark the club moving up to the third tier of English football for the first time in 10 years.

Two buses carried the club from St James Park, through High Street, towards Exeter's historic Guildhall.

A Civic Reception was then hosted by the past Lord Mayor of Exeter Cllr Yolonda Henson.

The Grecians secured their promotion from League Two after beating Barrow 2-1 on Tuesday 26 April 2022.
