Three teens arrested in connection with Exeter murder attempt are bailed

An 18-year-old man remains at Derriford hospital in a serious condition

Three teenagers in Exeter, who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, have been bailed by police.

Officers attended an address on Lancelot Road in Beacon Heath at around 11.30pm on Tuesday night (27th April) following an attack on another teenager.

An 18 year-old man sustained serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth where he remain in a serious condition.

Police say the alleged attackers, A 17-year-old boy from Cranbrook, A 17 -year-old boy from Exeter and an 18-year-old man also from Exeter, are all believed to be known to the victim.

Officers from the local investigation team are working closely with major crime detectives and neighbourhood officers on the investigation and community reassurance.

In a statement, Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"Three teenagers arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, relating to the attack of a fellow teenager at an address in Beacon Heath, Exeter, on Tuesday 27 April, have been bailed.

"Officers attended an address on Lancelot Road at around 11.30pm on Tuesday and found an 18-year-old man to have sustained serious injuries. He was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth where he remains in a serious condition.

"A 17-year-old male from Cranbrook, a 17-year-old male from Exeter and an 18-year-old male from Exeter, all believed to be known to the victim, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and bailed pending further enquiries."
