Teenagers arrested and bailed after property fire in Tavistock

Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating arson at a property in Tavistock which was reported at around 4.25pm on Monday (6 October 2025).
Fire crews attended the fire at a semi-detached property on Ford Street and extinguished the fire safely, and no one one injured.
The Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service says firefighters wore breathing apparatus, and used two hose reel jets, two safety jets, and gas monitoring equipment to extinguish the fire.
Police say enquiries have taken place at the scene, and the cause of the fire is currently being treated as deliberate.
Two boys and a girl, all aged 15, have been arrested on suspicion of arson and have been released on police bail.
