Police investigate serious sexual assault in Plymouth

House-to-house inquiries are taking place after the incident on Friday

House to house inquiries are taking place following a serious sexual assault in Plymouth.

It's reported to have happened at around 2pm on Friday 9 June in the area of Efford Road, Plymouth.

Specialist trained officers are currently supporting the female victim.

Scene guards are in place, and police say no arrests have been made so far.

Officers want to hear from anyone who was in the Eggbuckland Road and Efford areas of Plymouth between 1:30-2:30pm on Friday 9 June.

They're also asking for CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage of the area during that time that could assist the investigation.
