Police investigating single vehicle collision in Plymouth

Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating a single-vehicle road traffic collision in Plymouth on Saturday (October 4) and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Emergency services were called at around 3.45pm to a report of a collision involving a blue Yamaha motorcycle on North Prospect Road, Plymouth.

The rider, a man in his 40s, sustained life changing injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The road remained closed while collision investigation enquiries took place. It was reopened at around 5.20pm.
