Devon & Cornwall Police are investigating a fatal collision near Lynmouth.
They are appealing for any witnesses to come forward with information.
The collision involved three vehicles on the A39, Countisbury Hill, at around 1:40pm on Saturday.
A motorcycle rider, a 65-year-old man from Highbridge, Somerset, received serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police encourage anyone with information to contact them.
