The death of a man found near Salcombe yesterday isn't being treated as suspicious.
It's after police searching for 74 year old John Murphy from Chillington have found a body.
It was discovered at Bolberry Down on Sunday November 8, 2021.
"Police searching for 74-year-old John Murphy who had gone missing from his Chillington home have found the body of a man.
"Mr Murphy was reported missing at 5.10pm on Saturday 6 November.
"The body of a man was located at Bolberry Down near Salcombe around 9am on November 7, 2021.
"The family of Mr Murphy have been informed.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
