Police appeal for witnesses after woman assaulted on Exeter Quay
Devon and Cornwall Police seek man who allegedly struck woman in unprovoked incident near skatepark
Police are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted while walking along Exeter Quay.
The incident happened at around 7pm on Monday, 7 July. The woman was on the footpath heading towards Flowerpot Fields, on the skatepark side of the river, when an unknown man walking in the opposite direction struck her in the face.
The suspect did not stop and continued towards the city centre.
Officers are urging anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have seen the incident to come forward.
