Plymouth to host its own Eurovision screening

A free screening of the Grand Final is taking place in the Plymouth Guildhall this May.

The UK's came second in last years compeition and is hosting the event on behalf of Ukraine in Liverpool.

Groups of up to ten people can sit together at the event taking place on Saturday 13 May.

A quiz and disco is also planed for the event with a paid bar on site.

Screenings are being held across the country with record interest in the competition expected.

It is being organised by Plymouth pride with support from Plymouth City Council and funding from the department of Culture, media and Sport.

Tickets for the screening in Plymouth can be secured by signing up to city's Pride mailing list.
