There's a new leader for Plymouth City Council - after Nick Kelly lost a vote of no confidence this afternoon.

His place will be taken by Richard Bingley, who sits for the Tories on the Southway ward.

The vote was called by Labour after a number of suspensions and resignations left the Tories with the same number of councillors as the Labour group

The vote of no confidence passed by 29 votes to 23, with one abstention.
