Emergency services tackle house fire in Plymouth
Everyone in the property has been accounted for and are being treated by paramedics
Emergency services have responded to a property fire in Compton, Plymouth.
Fire crews were called at around 3:50pm on Wednesday (26th March) to reports of a house fire.
Devon and Somerset Fire Service have confirmed all persons in the property have been accounted for and are being treated by paramedics.
In a statement, the service said: "Fire Control received multiple calls reporting a domestic property on fire with persons still potentially within the building.
"Three pumping appliances were mobilised from Crownhill, Greenbank and Camels Head, Plymouth.
"On arrival crews confirmed a fire on the ground floor of a two storey semi detached house with all persons clear of the property, smoke and flames issuing, four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and a covering jet in use.
"Crews requested an aerial ladder platform to attend the incident along with a further two pumping appliances for additional personnel."
