Staff and volunteers at Paignton Zoo are releasing a Christmas record to raise money for the charity which runs it.

It was written by the zoo’s Graham Card - a former paramedic whose uplifting videos proved popular during the height of the pandemic under the name 'The Singing Paramedic' gaining popularity for its uplifting content.

Graham has used his talents in the jazz-pop genre to create this festive single, aiming to raise much-needed funds for Paignton Zoo in collaboration with South Devon College.

Graham said: "This year has been tough for everyone at the zoo, so I wanted to bring some joy with a fun, cheesy Christmas song.

"Seeing my colleagues join in the music video and the generous donations from the public has been incredibly heartwarming."

Those enjoying the record are asked to donate to a JustGiving page which will help support the Wild Planet Trust's ongoing conservation and education projects.
