Murder investigation launched after death of woman in Plymouth
A man from the city has been arrested on suspicion of murder
A man's been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in Plymouth.
Police received a report of concern for the welfare of a woman at an address on Colwill Road, Plymouth, at around 1.20am on Wednesday 31 May.
A woman aged in her 50s was found dead at the scene.
A 32-year-old man from Plymouth, who was located in the Yelverton area, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody.
Officers remain at the scene and any witnesses are urged to call Devon and Cornwall Police on 101.
