Motorcyclist suffers "potentially life-changing injuries" in Exeter collision

Devon and Cornwall Police are now investigating the crash on Trusham Road on Friday afternoon

A motorcyclist has suffered potentially life-changing injuries following a collision in Exeter.

Devon and Cornwall Police were called to Trusham Road, at the junction with Bridford Road, at around 3:30pm on Friday.

The collision involved a KTM motorcycle and a grey Renault van.

The motorcyclist is continuing to be treated at Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, and is with his next of kin.

The road was closed for several hours as Armed response and Roads Policing Officers assisted with investigations.

Devon and Cornwall Police are now asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or has information about it - including dashcam or CCTV footage - to contact them on 101 or via their website, quoting log number 0446 19/01/2024.
