Motorbike rider hospitalised in Ernesettle crash

The rider of a motorcycle has been rushed to hospital after a crash in Plymouth.

Emergency services were called to Uxbridge Drive in Ernesettle at around 21:10 last night (17/8).

Police say a yellow and black coloured Honda motorcycle collided with two parked vehicles.

Sharing details about the incident overnight, officers at the Devon and Cornwall force added: "At approximately 2111hrs on Sunday the 17th August 2025, Emergency services were called to a report of a road traffic collision on Uxbridge Drive, Plymouth – where a yellow and black coloured Honda motorcycle had collided with two parked vehicles.

"The rider of the motorcycle was conveyed to hospital by Ambulance.

"His injuries and condition are deemed to be life threatening at this time.

"Road closures remained in place whilst collision investigation work took place.

"If anyone has witnessed the incident, please contact Devon and Cornwall Police on 101, quoting Police incident reference 902 of 17/08/2025."
