The first stage of the nationwide trial revealed they have an 83 per cent chance of not being reinfected.

The local NHS are now looking for around 400 health workers - including those in back office functions - to take part in stage two of the trial, which is expanding the numbers involved.

In particular the local NHS want to hear from men or members of BAME communities as they are under represented in the latest volunteer tranche so far.

The trial is also open to those who've had the covid vaccine to help assess it's long term protection levels.
