Man seriously hurt in Paignton crash

Police are seeking witnesses and information after a man was seriously injured in a crash in Paignton.

Emergency services were called to Steartfield Road at 11.50am on Saturday 15 June, after a white Ford Fiesta Zetec had collided with a wall.

The passenger, a man in his 90s from Torquay, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. His condition is described as life-threatening.

The female driver was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The road was closed for four hours following the collision while officers carried out a forensic investigation of the scene.

Officers are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident and would like to hear from any witnesses or from anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
