A man has died in a crash at Bideford.

Three vehicles - a white Peugeot, a silver Renault and an HGV collided on the A386 Landcross just before 11am yesterday morning.

The driver of the Peugeot - a 52-year-old local man - was cut free by the fire service, but CPR was unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision or these vehicles prior to the collision or have dash camera footage.

If you can help, you're asked to contact police, quoting the log number 308 of 30 July 2021.
