Man dies following crash involving lorry on M5
The northbound carriageway was closed but has since reopened
A man has died following a crash on the M5 in Devon.
Police were called to the scene on the northbound carriageway between Exeter and Cullompton at 4.05 this morning (Tuesday 1 February).
The collision involved a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) and a male pedestrian.
He was pronounced dead at the scene - his next of kin have been informed.
The northbound carriageway was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
