Man charged with attempted murder in Paignton
60-year-old Christopher Allwood is due in court today (Wednesday 28 June)
A 60-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with an incident in Paignton on Sunday (25 June).
Officers were called around 1.00am and found a woman seriously injured in Church Street.
Christopher Allwood, of Roundham Road, Paignton, has been charged with attempted murder and is due to appear before Plymouth Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 28 June).
The woman in her 50s remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.
