Body found in Bideford identified
A man in his 50s was found in the River Torridge last week

The body of a man believed to be in his 50s last week has been identified by Devon Police in the River Torridge in Bideford.
It follows a media appeal issued to public on the 28th March for help.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
Detective Sergeant Ben Cartwright, who is leading the investigation, said: “We would like to thank the community for the assistance provided and the many lines of enquiry put forward, as the information we received helped us to identify the man.”
