A 37 year old man's in custody on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life after a fire at a bungalow in Totnes.
Fire crews were called to Bridgewater Gardens at 5.45am on Monday 28th October.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue says the roof had collapsed on the bungalow when they arrived, and there was smoke in the loft space of the house next door.
Police say the cause of the fire is believed to be suspicious, and enquiries remain ongoing.
A 37-year-old man from Totnes has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life - he's currently in police custody at this time.
