Man, 20s, suffers life-changing injuries in Tiverton crash

A man in his twenties has suffered life-changing injuries after a crash in Tiverton.

It happened just after midnight on Sunday, when a black and orange KTM motorbike hit a telegraph pole on Post Hill.

Police are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage to get in touch as investigations continue.

In a statement, officers said: "We are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious collision in Tiverton on Sunday 23 November.

"Officers were called to Post Hill at around 00:10am following a single vehicle collision where a KTM 125CC black and orange motorcycle had collided with a telegraph pole.

"The rider, a man in his 20’s, sustained serious, life changing injuries and was conveyed to Derriford Hospital. His next of kin are aware.

"Local road closures were in place whilst specialist Roads Policing Officers conducted investigations, and officers wish to thank members of the public for their patience during these closures.

"Anyone with any relevant information or dash camera footage which may assist the investigation is urged to contact us via our website or by calling 101, quoting log number 50250300629."
