'Lost' Torquay girl found safe and well
A search was launched after reports she had knocked on a door in Hele saying she was lost
A young girl who was seen alone in Torquay yesterday has been found safe and well.
Police reported she had knocked on the door of an address in Hele saying she was lost, before running off.
A search was launched overnight, involving the police helicopter and search and rescue dogs.
Officers now say she has been located at her home address in Torquay,
In a statement, Devon and Cornwall Police added, "We would like thank everyone who shared the appeal and assisted with enquiries in the area."
