Ivybridge woman part of virtual choir for those who've lost loved ones to coronavirus
Becca Slater's dad passed away just before the first lockdown
An Ivybridge woman and her 10-year-old daughter are part of a virtual choir, for family members who've lost a loved one to coronavirus.
Becca Slater's dad died from it at the age of 72, just before the first lockdown in March.
Becca said:
"We set about making our own song, and after months of zoom practices we are finally finished.
"The song is a thank you to our loved ones, for what they brought to our lives.
"It's also been an amazing way of bonding with others in the same situation and has helped with the grief in some small way.
"We are hoping our song will provide others with comfort & also raise funds for a national memorial for those lost to COVID."
