Two men arrested after knife attack in Barnstaple
A man is in hospital with serious injuries after being assaulted.
A man is currently in hospital after being assaulted with a knife at property in Barnstaple.
Police were called out to a property at Raleigh Meadow at around 10.20pm yesterday evening following reports of a disturbance.
A woman and a man had been assaulted with the man suffering serious, but not life-threatening knife wounds.
A 33-year-old man from Barnstaple has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and remains in police custody.
A 40-year-old man from Combe Martin has also been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
A police guard remains around the property and officers say they are treating this as an isolated incident.
