Police warn residents following Galmpton vehicle theft

A male was seen on Wednesday 2nd September breaking windows of vehicles in Glampton. Police say they received a number of reports that night, including criminal damage and theft.

Last week, a similar situation was spotted in the area where a male was seen trying car doors and taking unsecured items from driveways.

How can I protect my vehicle?

• Lock your vehicle

• Do not leave items or valuables in plain sight

• If you have a garage, utilise it to store your car

• If you park on a road, if possible, park under street lighting

• Lock up all equipment including pedal cycles in a shed or garage

• If you see anything suspicious, please call Police either via 999 or the 101 telephone service or use the 101 facility on the force website.
