Former police officer charged with misconduct in public office and stalking

He will appear before Exeter Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday

A former Devon & Cornwall Police officer is due to appear in court charged with stalking and misconduct in public office, following an investigation.

Ex-Police Constable Kevin Davis, aged 41, of Seaton, will appear before Exeter Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 20 August to face the charges.

The first charge relates to allegations that between January and May 2025, the former officer pursued a course of conduct which amounted to stalking of a woman.

The second charge relates to allegations that between January and June 2025, he caused a computer to perform a function with intent to secure unauthorised access to a program or data held in a computer 'Contrary to section 1(1) and (3) of the Computer Misuse Act 1990.'
