Man dies and two others "seriously injured" after Tiverton crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal crash in Devon.
It happened on Blundells Road in Tiverton on Wednesday afternoon (18 August). The collision involved two cars and a small lorry.
The driver of one car suffered critical injuries and was taken to hospital where he later died. Two others are still being treated for serious injuries.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:
"Police investigating a road traffic collision in Blundells Road, Tiverton, on Wednesday 18 August, following which a man died, are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
"Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two cars and a small lorry at around 12.45pm.
"As a result of the collision, the driver of one car, a local man, suffered critical injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital by air ambulance and died yesterday 19 August.
"The two occupants of a second car were both treated in hospital for serious injuries.
"The road was closed for several hours whilst a forensic examination of the collision scene was conducted and was reopened at around 8.40pm."
Officers from the Roads Policing Team who attended the scene would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, has any information or dashcam footage that could help the police with their enquiries.
