Exmouth: Four men charged with murder

It follows the death of a man over the weekend

Four men have been charged with murder after the death of a man in Exmouth.

Emergency services were called to the garden of a property in Ashfield Close in the early hours of Saturday morning (May 31) following a report a man had been assaulted and located in the garden of a property in Ashfield Close.

A 24-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene having suffered a single stab wound.

Two men and a woman who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been released on police bail.

The following four men will appear at Exeter Magistrates’ Court today 4 June charged with murder:

  • Zac Davies, 23, of Hawthorn Grove, Exmouth
  • Dylan Chadwick, 23, of Cambourne Avenue, St Helens
  • Ben Mason, 23, of no fixed abode, Exmouth
  • Thomas Ward, 24, of Russell Walk, Exeter

Two men and a woman have also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They have been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
