People aged 40 and over are being encouraged to take advantage of a drop-in clinic at Exeter's Greendale Vaccination Centre, for second Astrazeneca doses.

Officials say they've had a steady stream of patients since launching the scheme on Monday (21 June), but there is capacity for more.

The drop-in is open every day 8.30am to 7pm, until Sunday (27 June).

It is available for anyone aged 40 or over, who received a first dose of the Oxford/Astrazeneca vaccine at least 8 weeks ago, who has either missed their second appointment, or hasn't yet arranged it.

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust say online that people taking advantage of the service may have to wait, as scheduled appointments are also taking place this week.

Everyone aged 18 or over in Devon is now able to book a coronavirus vaccine on the NHS website.
