Have your say on plans to reduce homelessness in Exeter

Exeter City Council's asking people for their views in an online survey

People in Exeter are being asked what they think about proposals to reduce rough sleeping in the city.

The city council's produced a strategy, which will focus on areas including prevention, early intervention, and trying to resolve the causes.

The online survey will run to until 16 December and the key findings will be shared with all stakeholders and uploaded to the Council website early in the New Year.

Cllr Martin Pearce, Lead Councillor for Communities and Homelessness Prevention, said: “It’s really important to hear from as many people as possible to get their views on the strategy. It’s vital that we get this right and ensure we are doing all we can to make homelessness a thing of the past. No-one in the city should be sleeping rough.”
