Elderly woman sustains serious injuries in Crediton crash
It happened on the High Street yesterday
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious crash in Crediton.
Officers were called to the scene on the High Street at around 1.10pm yesterday (Wednesday 27 July).
The collision involved a car and a 76-year-old female pedestrian.
As a result, the woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital by Air Ambulance.
The road was closed for several hours whilst the police conducted their investigation.
